Product came on time, works fine...except that one of the arrow buttons on the camera stopped working after about a week of heavy use.

Can anyone address what you have done for a camera case. Does the Fujifilm SC-FXS100 case which Amazon wants to bundle with this work?
Ok i lied on my star rating, no way to ask question without product review. I am going to buy one shortly though...... Having now taken this camera to India... It was great. Played around with low light shots using the pro low light option and I would buy this camera again in a moment.

Lots of choices for an automatic "point and shoot". Really BIG...Can't really say that it is of point and shoot "handle-bility". Still learning all the functions of this camera. It is a great camera before investing in a professional camera.

Having owned two fuji cameras before I bought the s200exr with no hesitation, which was a mistake. My previous s6500 gives better results, then grain is far finer and the flash is more powerful. Also it takes too long on when changing between modes on the s200exr and the screen blacks out longer when using flash. Added to this it's weight and I find myself using the old s6500 rather the s200exr. I would advise anyone to think carefully before buying this model.

This is my 3rd fuji camera and also i am not new in photography
i've been fujifilm fan for years even when i used my film camera and films
i'm not satisfied with picture quality and with focus
i tried different options (shutter speed, iso, face recogn. mode...
also i've called customer support 100 times and i've been trying to solve the problem since september
customer support is a disaster especially when you expect some advice from professional and you get "let me transfer you" (to the answering machine) all the time by brainless receptionist

feels like my old simple point-and-shoot f810 takes MUCH BETTER pictures than overfeatured s200

Let me start by saying that this review is by an photographically active amateur, not a professional. I am returning to SLR use after many years of using a more simpler camera. While I do not take professional pictures, I do consider myself quite active in taking pictures so wanted to step up to the next level of camera, and lens, without going to the really high end equipment. I now have several lenses, but this one was my first. In this lens, I was looking for versatility - a "walk around" lens as it were. After several weeks of research, including reading as many reviews as possible through customer ratings on Amazon and other sites, I felt that this lens would meet my criteria of a walk-around lens with some telephoto as well as wide-angle capability. Over the last month, I have take nearly 1,000 pictures and while this lens, according to some reviews, may not produce quite as good a picture as one of the equivalent Canon "L" lens, it is more than adequate for me, not nearly as expensive at this stage of my involvement, nor as heavy. Nor does it have the "lens creep" reported through reviews of Canon's other equivalent (28-135) lens which I also considered. As an interesting anecdote, during a recent trip on the train from Central Florida to the Washington, DC, area, I wanted to take some photos out of the train window showing snow scenes as we entered Virginia. The train was traveling at approximately 50-70 MPH so I knew I had to adjust for blur. I set my camera speed at 1/1200; let the aperture adjust automatically, as well as the ISO, and found that I could take sharp photos out the window without problem. It also made me realize how important a lens with Image Stabilization was for these type of shots. While not all were perfect (due to user error), most were very good considering that this was my real first attempt at doing "speed shots." After further review of my shots later in the trip, I noticed that I shifted my zoom from 35mm to 85mm, back and forth, depending upon the type of picture I wanted to take. This process was quite easy to do with this lens. In summary, I find this to be a very capable lens for the purpose I intended it to be and would unequivocally recommend its purchase for similar needs.

I'm surprised that this lens is actually pretty good. Pretty sharp even wide open. Now I own lots of L lenses but this one is good enough for my walking lens.

I have only taken a few practice shots so far with this new lens, but I am impressed with the quality of the pictures. It is fast to focus even with the stabilizer on. I have not seen any lens "creep" yet and it is small enough to still fit in my Canon bag. I will update with pictures later. So far it seems to be just what I wanted, a zoom from 18mm wide angle to 135mm telephoto without having to change lenses. To make it even better it is stabilized, which works great.

Bought this as a step up from the kit lens with the Rebel and have been very pleased. For the price I don't think you can beat this for an every-day lens. The image stabilization feature is truly a gift. You can hand-hold for shots you never thought possible. Was on vacation without my tripod (gasp!) but was still able to get some incredible late evening/sunset/star shots with this lens.

I rated this lens as a new lens and I a happy with it. I had to buy it because the more expensive version froze up at two years old. I was not happy with that.
