I was interested in getting a mini flexible tripod for my Nikon D60. The price was right for this product. It was by far the cheapest flexible tripod I’ve seen that supports dSLR cameras. That is the problem though. This camera doesn’t really support dSLR cameras. Sure, I am able to place my camera on the tripod, but as soon as I add a lens the tripod becomes unstable. I don’t think I trust it enough to take my hands off the camera while its on the tripod, and that really defeats the purpose of the tripod in my opinion.
It is also very tricky getting the camera to stay pointed at what you are taking a picture of. I found that as soon as i would remove my hands from the camera, it would tilt down because of the weight of the lens, and there is very little you can do about it.
I might get some use out of this product, but it will be very little. Not really what i was hoping for. I guess you get what you pay for.
