The amor has saved my camera from duct and hard hits i don’t worry about the camera being dented or any thing like that. But i am still very cautious about how i handle me camera – like an egg- the only thing i must bring to your attention is that the infrared sensor as it relates to the extension battery pack and grip, the amor impedes direct signal from the pop out sensor on the grip to the camera’s sensor … but a piece of paper like funnel near the trigger so the sensor can pick up …thats why i gave the 4 star to the construction quality… if you need to use the grip button and you good to go … Writing from Jamaica… Bless

This armor will protect your camera from bumps and dings, especially if you shoot alot of outdoors. It also helps keep your grip on the body. I have no problem at all accessing any bottons or controls. The lens armor doesnt stay on very well and gets in the way of the manual focus ring so I put mine directly on the lens hood. It fits great on there. Buy it.

I greatly enjoy the camera armour, it has already saved me from some close calls… Making sure that no dents or scrathes get to my camera body is a great relief for me when I am out shooting. It is a little dificult to attatch my camera to my tripod now because the bottom is a little longer than the camera itself but I would rather that than to risk my camera damage

I’ve wanted one of these for a long time. Amazon has it at the best price so far. Wish i had the screen protector from day one with my camera.
It’ won’t stop the camera from breaking if dropped but for little dings (when hiking!) this works well. the lens hood is a bit loose, the body part fits snug.
