Saludos.

I bought this item and only after 2 months and a couple of shoots it stoped working, the trigger circuit burned. I tried contacting vivitar but there is no response. Now I have a pice of equipment that does everything exept lighting my scene. All the functions are still operational but that means nothing if it just dont throw out light. I highly recomend you to save a little extra and get a real canon flash as the 430ex.

Its interesting, 1 years and Its still alive, does the same work that canon 430ex does. Fast and rechargest fast. Pretty good to bownce from everywhere.
Price is nice. Its a little noisier than canon version but, not as cool looking but you get what you pay.

The flash is very bright and you have many manual and creative flexibility. There are only two minor issues. One, I use the flash with an off camera flash trigger, and the flash seems to turn off automatically have 3 mins which means i have to go manually turn it on during a shoot. Not a big deal but kinda a hassle. There is no way to turn that off unless you use the optical slave option, which i don’t use. The second issue is that you have to use NiCd batteries if you want fast recharge time. With lithium ions, it takes about 12 seconds. With NiCd i get about a 3 to 4 charge time which isnt bad. Other than that it is a very good flash for the price. It has good build quality and ease of use. Ive only had the flash for a couple of months.
