  2. I expected more from Sony but this tripod was very flimsy and could not hold up well to shoot a sporting event. The wobbling interfered with getting good footage. I would have wanted to know how sturdy this was and whether the legs were adjustable. This tripod is very limited in terms of mobility and stability

  3. …Only if you’re a smurf. It’s too short to practically operate standing up, and very unstable. I get less camera shake holding it in my hand. It’s basically useless.

  4. A wonderful Tripod if you happen to be a Dwarf, or plan to shoot all your photos on your knee’s,but if your not then this little unit probably will not work for you.Construction is good for the low price. Decent leg locks( plastic seems durable ) smooth sliding leg tubes.Decent wide plastic thumb screws for tightening. The head is very small and of course so is the accompanying tilt handle. If you have freakishly small hands, you will be ok, but if your hands are larger then a 10 year olds or Hobbit , it is not going to work out for you. It’s a 30 dollar tripod, don’t expect much.I use mine to hold reflectors and flash units. It’s one really strong attribute is it’s amazingly light. It does not have a very wide base when the legs are fully spread ( a great criteria for ladies, but not for Tripods) and hence is top heavy and unstable ,especially on windy days.To sum up. Works fine to hold a bounce flash or some other peripheral gear, but what ever you do, don’t put any camera of value on it.

  5. I was very happy to find this tripod on amazon at $30 cheaper than the Sony Website. I’m not a professional photographer/videographer so this works great for my uses. Easy to set up and compact.
