I received one of these made in knock off brand (made inchina) batteries for my Nikon D-90 and it arrived DOA. I promptly notified Eforcity and within a couple days they sent a replacement. Guess what, It arrived DOA also. Now Eforcity wants me to fill out some paperwork and jump thru hoops to get my money back. So now, after nearly a month (they evidently ship by camel) I still do have a spare battery.
PS – I just ordered a Nikon made EN-EL3E from a more reliable manufacturer.

While okay as a replacement, note you are NOT getting a NIKON battery, but a generic. The battery life is not a long as the Nikon version, and wears out quicker. If you aren’t shooting for 8 hours at a time and need a battery backup you can count on, this would probably work for you, otherwise, stick with the Nikon brand, even though you’ll pay a little more.

Does not work well With a Battery Grip.
Has trouble recognizing this battery.
Other than that it works.
But that is the reason i bought it, to
use it with the grip..

Got this battery for my D200. Fit perfect, last about 3 hours with continuous shooting. Not a bad price at all, fast shipping also.

Got this battery some time last week. It came in a very un-assuming box but it’s more about the product than the packaging right?
Put it in my Nikon charger and in about 1hr it was fully charged and ready to go.
Went out on Mothers Day and used this battery for the whole day. I am pleased to report that I left my D90 on just about all day and took around 300 photos – some with flash, but most without, and the battery meter read 3 bars(?)at the end of the day!
I was bit leary at first because it was not a “Nikon” battery, and there’s no way to tell that it will last as long after multiple charges, but I can honestly say that I’m pretty pleased, and at half the cost it seems to work just as well as the name brand… so far.
