Instructions were in Japanese so installation is unclear unless you understand Japanese. Product was defective upon arrival. w Dust had accumulated on the bonding side of the film which showed immediately upon installation in the form of air pockets. Since it was on the bonding or sticky side it would not come off. Dust was on product during manufacturing process since film is sealed before shipment. Returned item and still waiting on seller. Stay away from this product.

This thing works great! It applies easily, stays in place and virtually disappears on the ZS3′s screen. As other folks here have stated, you’ll need to visit the manufacturer’s website for the English instructions, but it’s a very simple process: Just clean the camera’s display, peel off one side of the film, apply it to the display (slowly/carefully), then peel off the film’s backing. Voila, you’re done! The Pro Guard film is fairly rigid and I feel like it will provide a high degree of protection for the camera. Also, two films are included in the package along with a microfiber cloth to keep the film clean. I also used it to clean the display before applying the film and hopefully this was OK as it appears to be one those silicone impregnated cloths. In sum, great product and highly recommended.

I’ve bought this product after reading other review, that it’s good but you need to get english instruction on the internet. However confusing that could be it’s good to get that english instruction by going to the website of the producer and then clicking on english version of the site. On the main site there’s a link with tips on how to apply the film to the camera. In case of any doubts – customer service will always quickily help you out. If you happen to apply the film with some dust underneath – use the Scotch tape to unstick the film, remove the dust and put it back to the screen. If you for whatever reason decide to take the film off the LCD, it’s very easy with the tape as well without destroying the LCD. Oh here’s another thing – with the package – you get one film free as a spare part.

Initially, the instructions in Japanese seemed a bit confusing, but after looking at the very detailed English instructions on their website ([...]), I had absolutely no problem applying the film to my camera.
The film fits perfectly, is crystal clear, and fingerprints or dust can easily be wiped of with the enclosed cleaning cloth. The display colors are just as true as before, but the display definitely has no more glare in bright light, just as advertised.
I also feel the film is sturdy enough to protect my display from damage, other than competitor’s thinner films.
Micro Solution has an absolute perfect customer service, greatly exceeding my expectations. I was positively surprised by their caring and professionalism, and I would highly recommend the company as well as their products.
