The new Canon SX200IS is a fabulous camera. This is probably my 7th digital camera. They keep improving so much that I have to get a new one every 2 or 3 years. Although it’s a point and shoot, it has so many options that I will be leaving my DSLR home from now on. It’s light and easy to carry in a case on my belt. The lens is fantastic. You can shoot in macro, a bug crawling on the front element of the lens. Or zoom to 12X optical or even 48X digital. For low light you can use ASA 3200. It has all the options that my elph has and then some. Its very good case all around , my SX200IS fits in perfect. The only thing that I didn’t expect was that it doesn’t have clip-on type of thing to clip it on the belt but instead you have to run your belt through like you do on your pants which is inconvenient but not the end of world. It protects the camera very well and thats the main reason I got this for.

While I have a larger case to hold all the batteries and extras, I wanted a case that I could put on my belt to keep the camera handy on some days. This is perfect…my camera, the PowerShot SX110 IS, just fits in the case, so it is as small as possible. The case was shipped to my house much quicker than expected, also.

According to the Canon website, this case works for PowerShots SX100IS, SX100IS (Black), SX110IS, and SX200IS. I have the 110 camera Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Black), and the fit is snug but good. The quality of the leather case is excellent, with a magnetic clasp, a hole in the top for the camera strap, and a belt loop on the back. The case is only large enough for the camera, so if you need accessories, you’ll need to accommodate them separately. Protect your camera with this outstanding bargain.

Good quality case. Fits the SX200IS well. Every once in a while the snap on the flap pops off, but most of the time it’s fine. I would buy it again.
